(If all slots in the queue are taken, commissions will be closed temporarily)
Lineart
€10 Eur - €15 Eur - €20 eur
Uncoloured lineart of the commissioned character(s)If you combine this option with a full scene background, the background will also be uncoloured unless specifically requested otherwise. You may request a specific style of lineart, if you want to (e.g. thick outline, rough (brush), etc.)
shaded
€20 Eur - €25 Eur - €30 eur
A fully rendered drawing of the commissioned character(s) - shading, effects (if applicable), etc.If you combine this with a scene background, the background will also be fully rendered (unless requested otherwise). How the character is shaded then depends on the scene you chose. Lighting for characters without backgrounds will usually be kept fairly neutral, unless you request something else (see examples)
Reference sheet
€50 eur +
A reference sheet for one character. Ref sheets will always be in flat colour and cannot be combined with a scene backgroundWhen you commission a reference sheet, please disclose your character's:
· Name, pronouns, species and other details, should you want to include them
· demeanor (i.e. smug, cheerful, cold, etc.)
· overall aesthetic and/or interestsThe base price includes up to:
· a full-body front view
· a full-body back view or an additional front view
· additional full body poses start at 15 €
· a colour palette
· the name, species, pronouns and other details about your character
· some props and/or accessories and marking detailsAdditional fees will apply if I have to design the character for you (because you don't have any other references), for extra views/poses, for particularly dynamic or complex poses, etc.If you don't have a visual reference for your character, I recommend colouring an adoptable base to include in your commission
Background options
Solid colour
Free
The background of your commission will be a solid colour
I don't think you need an example for this one...
colour gradient
Free
The background of your commission will be a gradient between two or more colours
...or this one
abstract background
Free +
The background of your commission will include some abstract shape(s) and pattern(s) (i.e. a rectangle, circle, pattern, etc. behind your character)
If you specifically request something a bit more complex, like the first example, I will most likely add a small fee. (If I decide I wanna do something more complicated on my own, I won't charge you extra for it of course)
Extras
Additional characters
Any additional characters will increase the price of your commission by 50% each
Extra shots, expression shots, multiple panels, close-ups, alternate versions, etc.
I will gladly add these to your commission, but the price completely depends on the type of extra shot, how big it is, how detailed it is etc. or how major of a change the alt version is. If you want any of these or similar in your commission, describe it in the description in the commission form and I'll tell you how much it'd cost you when I confirm your commission. If you so choose you can still remove or change the shot at that point and I will adjust the price. Alternatively, you can also just ask me beforehand at [email protected]
Custom requests
I obviously can't list every possible type of commission on this website, so if you want to commission something that you can't find here (for example a drawing of a weapon for your DnD character), just send me an email describing your request and I'll let you know how much it would cost you
Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a commission the client is bound to these Terms and Conditions. First-person references within these conditions (I, Me, Myself, etc.) refer to the artist of the commission transaction. "Client" will refer to the customer, or purchaser, of the transaction. These conditions may periodically be updated.
General
— The client may request any commission (both SFW and NSFW) of one or multiple non-human (furry, scalie, etc.) character(s), including bipedal and quadrupedal characters
— It is not guaranteed that I accept the client's commission and I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason. If this is the case, the client will not be charged
— I may charge the client an additional amount if they do not provide a reference for a character or when a character has a particularly complex design. If this applies, I will inform the client in the confirmation email and add the fee to the invoice. The same thing applies to especially detailed backgrounds, etc.
— Commission prices are subject to change. If the price for an item were to change after the time of purchase, the client would not be reimbursed or billed the difference
Payment
— As soon as I have confirmed the commission and its price with the client via email, it will be added to the queue and they will be sent a PayPal invoice for their order. When the client's commission has reached the first place in the queue, if not already there, they will be notified. Once notified this invoice must be paid within 7 days, if it hasn't been already. When I have received payment and don't have any remaining questions about the details, I will promptly start working on the client's commission. If I do not receive payment within this deadline, the client's commission will be terminated and removed from the queue
— The prices listed on this page and in the commission form are base prices and the amount charged in the invoice may vary, additional fees may apply
— When payment is received and I have started working on the commission, the client can still cancel their commission but is no longer eligible for a refund. In specific cases, depending on how much time I have spent on the commission, a partial refund may be received, but this is in no way guaranteed
— Chargebacks issued by a client's financial institution or PayPal MUST be compensated by the client
Queue
— All commissions are listed on my public queue, located here
— A client's position in the queue may shift, depending on their response time
— The time it takes until I get to the client's commission will vary, depending on the complexity of the preceding commissions and other external factors
Communication, work in progress updates, and turnaround time
— Initial communication and commission confirmation will be conducted over email. If I deem it necessary, I may contact the client on Discord with the @ provided in the commission form to ease communication
— If the default update option is chosen in the commission form, I will generally send the client about 3 WIPs (Work in progress updates) - of the first sketch, the final sketch before lineart, flat colours, and the finished artwork and wait for the client to confirm (or request changes) after each update. Minor edits/revisions may or may not receive a new WIP. If the client takes too long to respond to these updates, they may be moved down the queue. Continuous failure to respond may have their commission removed from the queue and put on hold
— If the client wishes to receive more, less, or no updates from me they may choose so in the commission form
— If the client contacts me at any point after their commission was put on hold, their commission may re-enter the commission queue and be continued, once other queued commissions have been finished, assuming my commissions are currently open
— If the client contacts me about a commission that has been put on hold while my commissions are not open, they may be re-entered into the queue and their commission will only be continued once I reopen my commissions unless I explicitly state otherwise
— The estimated turnaround time as well as estimated times for specific commission types are exclusively estimates and not a guarantee for a commission's completion
— Clients may reach out to me themselves at any point to receive additional updates on their commission
— Clients may request changes to the pose(s), expression(s), and other details during the initial WIP stage. Note that early sketches may be rough and not accurately reflect proper anatomy. Once the initial sketch is approved, the client cannot request major changes to the pose(s), background etc. If the client is not sure whether a change is too major during any point of the artwork, they can ask me for confirmation. If an edit is too major, it might still be made at the cost of an additional fee
— If the client requires their artwork before a deadline, they must state this at the time of purchase. Note that not all deadlines can be accommodated. Rush fees may apply
— While I am happy to edit and adjust WIPs to suit the client's expectations, I may terminate a commission if it is repeatedly hindered by the revision process (i.e. the client requests dozens of revisions and is never satisfied with the returned edit). If I terminate a commission due to this, the client may (but is not guaranteed to) receive a partial refund of the invoice amount
Publishing
— I reserve the right to display the client's commission anywhere unless explicitly stated otherwise during the initial commission of the artwork
— The client may not use the commissioned artwork commercially in any way, they are however welcome to print their commission for personal use and/or publish it on their own social media as well as to crop it for non-profit use, such as social media icons, banners, physical stickers (as long as they are not sold) etc. - if my signature is cut off due to the artwork being cropped, the client is not required to move or rewrite my signature, they are however welcome to credit me elsewhere (i.e. profile bio)
— Should the client wish to credit me, they may link directly to my carrd at shiru-fox.carrd.co or any of my social media accounts
Finished artwork
— Once finished, the client will receive a copy of their artwork of at least 4000x4000 pixels via email. Should the client want an artwork on a canvas notably bigger than 4000x4000 pixels, this must be explicitly stated at the time of purchase
— After the artwork is complete, the client may still request minor edits such as color adjustments and markings. Major edits may be refused or subject to an additional fee
Cancelled commissions
— As stated previously, commissions are automatically cancelled if payment is not received 7 days after they have reached the front of the queue unless other arrangements have been explicitly made
— I may cancel a commission at any time (i.e. because of a very uncooperative or otherwise inappropriate client, conflict of interests, personal circumstance, etc.) If I terminate a commission that has already been paid for, the client may (but is not guaranteed to) receive a partial or full refund, depending on the reason of termination and amount of work done
